Delinda qualified as a physiotherapist in 2007 and has worked as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist for the last 10 years.
Having gained her experience in the Musculoskeletal field within the NHS, Delinda decided to specialise in treating lumbar spine and pelvic conditions. To provided comprehensive treatment she gained her Pilates certification with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI). This is incorporated widely within her treatment approach, as well as teaching stand alone classes for the general population and a specific baby friendly post natal class.
Following having her children in 2010 Delinda became very aware of the limited education and services available to pregnant and post natal women. She completed further training to specialise in Women’s Health Physiotherapy now treats continence and gynaecological condition’s, pregnancy related pain and post natal conditions such as Diastasis Rectus (abdomial seperation)
Treatment can include manual therapy, soft tissue and myofascial release, kinesiology taping, exercise prescription, clinical pilates and acupuncture.
